No one likes paying $300, $400 or even more just to mint their NFTs. So we’re taking a different approach that will save our community a lot of money.

Our mint will be a two step process.

Step 1: pay the price of the NFTs and you will be added to the “allow list”.

Step2: claim the NFTs to have them added to your wallet.

If you’re new to NFTs, what this essentially means is that you pay to reserve your NFTs and the contract generates a list of all the people who bought them (it saves your wallet ID). During the “Claim NFT” process, the contract will only allow people who are on the allow list to claim their NFTs.

This approach drastically reduces the amount of gas needed to get your NFT and prevents “gas wars”, where too much congestion on the network costs you a lot of money. We expect gas (for both steps) to be under $90 total.

We estimate that by structuring the mint this way, we will save our community between $1.5 – 2.5 Million dollars in gas fees.

PRESALE

We will have a presale window for whitelisted addresses to purchase 2-3 NFTs each. There are 3,000 presale whitelist spots available. If you purchase 1 NFT during the presale, you are still able to purchase up to 10 more NFTs during the public sale.

The exact price of our NFTs has yet to be determined, but we will try to make it accessible to as many people as possible.

We will be giving away 3,000 whitelist spots. A whitelist spot will allow you to purchase up to 1-5 NFTs during the presale window. You can still purchase up to 10 more NFTs during the public sale if you choose.

There are three main ways to get whitelisted:

1. In Discord: for winning contests or inviting (real) users to our community
2. On Twitter: for retweets and engagement with us or our promotional partners. 
3. Stock up and stake your on $SmackTokens before launch.

There will be 10,000 total Smackdown League NFTs created. Each faction has a certain number of NFTs: 4,000 Celebrity NFTs, 1,300 Rockstar NFTs, 1,200 Entertainer NFTs, ~430 Popstar NFTs, ~570 Social Media Influencer NFTs, 1,200 Boy-band NFTs, 1,300 Athlete NFTs

The distribution of our NFTs will be:

• 500 reserved for our marketing and promotional partners
• 500 reserved for the founding team
• 500 given away for free to winners of the Prelaunch Puzzle
• 3,000 whitelist presale spots (each person can purchase 1-5 NFT during the presale window and they can still buy up to 10 more during public sale)
• 5,500+ for public sale (first come, first served – can purchase 1 or 10 NFTs per person)

There are 24 Legendary NFTs within the total supply. The founding team will be claiming our NFTs randomly, but if we happen to get any legendary NFTs within our 500, we will save them to give away to the our community at some point in the future.

2. Purchase Ethereum on an exchange like Coinbase.
3. Send Ethereum from your exchange account to your MetaMask wallet.
4. On the launch day, go to SmackdownLeague.io (this is the ONLY place where you can buy an NFT at mint) and connect your wallet.
5. Click on the “Mint” button and choose the number of NFTs you want to purchase.
6. Confirm the transaction in the metamask popup.
7. If you successfully purchased an NFT, you can then visit the “Claim” section on SmackdownLeague.io.
8. Follow the steps to claim your NFT(s).
9. Once you have claimed your NFTs, they will show up in your wallet and on OpenSea / LooksRare.
